Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

Recipe (easy/cheap)

Randi at I have to say is asking for cheap and easy recipes! Well I have one our family loves :)

Homemade chicken pot pie

1 large or 2 small cans cream of chicken
1 large or 2 small cans mixed veggies
1 large can of canned chicken (drained) or a couple of boiled boneless skinless chicken breasts cut up
2 regular pie crusts
2 deep dish pie crusts

Heat oven to 350. Mix chicken, cream of chicken and mixed veggies. Salt and pepper to taste. Dump in the 2 deep dish pie crusts. Cover with regular crusts, pinch lightly. cut a few small slits with a butter knife. Bake for about 45 min. or until the crusts are browning slightly. (I put mine on a cookie sheet in case of spills) VERY cheap as you can buy it all generic, and very easy just dump and bake. I ususally make with rolls. Enjoy bon apetite LOL xoxo melzie

Oh I am going to copy this, I use to love pot pies but have not had one in a LONG time.

LOL! This is EXACTLY the way I make my "homemade" chicken pot pie. I used to do everything from scratch but this is sooooo much easier and still tasty.

Sounds easy and delicious--my family loves "home-cookin" type recipes!

Hi Melzie,
Thnks so much for stopping by my blog. It's so neat to look and see that someone has left a comment. In looking at your site I think we have quilting in common. I am a rank beginner, but my mom, who is teaching me, is a master. She has made some of the most beautiful quilts you've ever seen.
My day seems to have gone from bad to worse, but tomorrow is another day. I hope not another "eeyore one".

Looks like an easy recipe for anyone who isn't crazy about cooking, too!

Sounds great. I'll have to give it a try.

Melzie, what I did was just make comments on other quilters blogs. I would follow their blog rings and comments to find them, as well as search for "quilt" on blogger. I added them to my bloglines list, so I would know when they made a new post. Eventually the people I commented on visited my blog and I made friends that way. I'm sure some of the people who comment on my blog are people who are on the ring, but there are people who aren't as well.
Which ring did you sign up for? I could try to put in a good word for you on Stash quilts if you want.
