Quilts; They Grow Up So Fast These Days


So I thought you might want to know that my quilt has hit puberty haha.  The only way to get rid of this pilling/lint all over my rag quilt was to SHAVE IT.  Front and back :)  And now it looks really cute and is ready to get mailed off Tues. morning.  Minus the razors of course. 

Dollar General has so CUTE CUTE CUTE fall stuff, with a 3 yr old still in the house I like to decorate the doors and windows etc.  Oh who am I kidding I will probably always do it if the stuff is this cute lol!

I am very much an owl fan!

the metal owl bell is so cute.  Wildchild will get to use the shimmery pumpkin stickers in various projects, but the googly eye owl stickers are all mine lol!
He wanted to pose behind 'our quilt we made' one last time since it's getting ready to mail =)  he is really rowdy and rambunctious but that makes me appreciate the sweet moments oh so much more. 
Up early and fixing to go hit up some yardsales, wish me luck bargain hunting!
