Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

I have no idea how to use blogger now, that is what happens when you on blog about twice a year.  Surprisingly enough though I have found a renewed interest in reading blogs again and actually thought maybe I might start blogging some again.  Top picture is my oldest, somehow in the last 5 minutes he grew up on me.  He did get to graduate but has to go to summer school (as does my 2nd son).  The bottom picture is my 2 1/2 yr old and his cousin playing in the dirt.  He is all about the dirt, cars, cars, dirt, jumping on the trampoline, dirt and cars.

I treated myself to a new sewing machine (had just an $80 Brother all these years) it is a Brother CS 6000i and I LOVE it.  It is absolutely awesome.  I've sewn a few things with it, and was able to do some practice free motion quilting.  I LOVE IT!  I cannot believe how easy it is to sew with it!  I am currently working on a batik patchwork baby quilt, I will share some pics.

Anyway, going to jump back in here and hopefully stick with this blogging thing again, I love going back and reading my old posts.

Hi Melzie!
I saw that you'd left a comment on Michele's blog so I thought I'd come see what you've been up to. My how your boys have grown! Best of luck to the oldest, assuming he still intends to go into the military. Very cute little house quilt - looking forward to seeing what you're currently working on! :- )

Long time no see! Congrats on your graduate too, they are all growing up way too fast. We have a nephew that graduated also and he is heading off to basic training in a couple of weeks. Proud of the boys for stepping up to defend our country, hang in there mom!
