Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

I'm shrinking! I'm a LOSER!

Hopefully anyway lol. I am joining in the fun at Sharon's Blog
and posting my weight loss plans/updates for all to see! My goal for now is to weigh 150. I am a short girl (5'2") so 150 won't be 'slim' by any means I am sure, but I want to be healthier not necessarily skinnier so all is good. :) When I get to my goal weight of 150 I am treating myself to a makeover! Hair, clothes, etc. My plan for now is drink WATER, eat less sweets/starches/carbs. No eating after 7pm. I am seriously considering joining Weight Watchers, even if just for a month or two to get me started. Anyone else on the healthier wagon this new year? :) Hopefully you'll see 'less' and 'less' of me as I shrink and become a LOSER lol. xoxo melzie

After I had my son, I still weighed 80 pounds more than I did pre-pregnancy. I am 5'10" and was 210 pounds. I lost most of it, but wanted to get to about 130 pounds, which was my college/early adulthood/pre-kid weight.

Water is good, but did you know they also have a Powerade Zero? All the good stuff in regular Powerade but without the calories. I also kept a food journal, and made sure I lost the weight slowly, like 1 or 2 pounds a week. As long as I was losing, and not going backward, I was happy. It's a mindset you have to firmly establish yourself in. Not eating after 7 pm is very good, too. Now, I'm about 135 (I realized 130 was too skinny), and I feel pretty good.

Just firmly establish in your heart that you can do it. :)

If I can do it, anyone can.

Oh yeah...I am on that wagon! I have lost 27 pounds and have about 40 more to go. I want to weigh 140 and I am 5'5" so that is good. I cut out all white stuff for life and then for my weight loss I am cutting all starch and sugar. Only certain fruits and lots of meat and veggies. Water is a great weight loss tool!!
Good luck to you. I know you can do it!!
