Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

1st day of school pics :)

My big 1st grader :) Mr. Hawgerman

Oh so handsome Lovey- 6th grade

and my OMG I'M A PARENT OF A HIGHSCHOOLER! 9th grade Wildchild ;-)
I have to confess, I am so scatterbrained that I forgot to take pics BEFORE school so made them pose with their backpacks AFTER school LOL. Oh well it works. Its still the 1st day right?
Yesterday went and sat with my MIL. Remember the pic a few posts back of her in the bouncie thing at my church's picnic? Well the next week she fell and broke her pelvis/buttbone very badly. My SIL Shanda has been with her for the first 2 wks and now her husband my FIL is caring for her, she is recovering nicely :) Prayers though for her and FIL as they still have 6+ wks of very tricky care.
Well a few changes going on here lately, some big, some small. Big ones, next Fri. we go to court for our bankruptcy and will I guess find out then how long we have until we have to move. And it seems our public housing apartment plan is not going to pan out in time for us to move from here to there. Which led melzie to a LOT of anxiety, stress, and ugly behaviour as a result. :( But I am beginning to realize that you know what? God has THE place for us to go. THE perfect place. Better than any place we would want for ourselves, because He wants whats best for us :) It might be a trailer on a dirt road, but if we are in the center of His will we will be happy as clams there :) The kids are dead set to stay in our same school district and I was too at first, but have come to realize I want to be in God's will more than in this school district. If He wants us elsewhere..we'll go. So nothing's really changed except my attitude ;) Isn't it amazing to have peace?
I'm announcing my (belated) 500 post giveaway on Monday, stay tuned, hopefully it won't be lame LOL.
xoxo melzie
