Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

Typical for this time of year for me.......

I'm in a slump :( less than 2 wks after quitting my job all is back to sweat pants and headaches from non-activity. I did NOT realize how good for me it is to get up, get dressed etc. I also used my small amounts of time ALOT more wisely than the huge chunks of time. I am not in a true FUNk just a small SLUMP and first thing Mon. a.m. I WILL be out finding me a part time job.

IDEALLY I'd love to go back to school and major in something where I could be involved in victims advocacy and help, but school isnt a real option at this point. So I thought I'd try to get a peon job in that area somehow but I have no idea how to get from point A to point C kwim? Any ideas? Volunteering isnt really an option either, cant afford gas w/out income. I want to work about 3 full days a week, no halfdays, not worth my gas either. Maybe I'll call the family services office and find out how to get to take the state merit exam also. That opens up a lot more jobs also. Time to dust off my massive computerbutt and get on with things :)

I bought some fabric for a new purse, but never did anything with it. My mom bought some for a new purse also and already finished hers, I think she kidnapped my fabric LOLOL she came by today and now its gone!

I've got binding ready to go on a baby quilt, the baby is 9+mos old already and has a new sib on the way! I've GOT to get it DONE lol no more procrastination!

Anyone an advocate of fish oil supplemants? I'm trying to do some research.

xoxo melzie

to apply for the state merit test you go to MO state web site and apply there. You can apply for all of the jobs you want at the same time. They will send you an email and tell you when your test day is. Good luck!

Omega 3, 6, 9 is really good for your heart and respiratory system.

What about working at a school - if you found a job at a college or jr college, you might get a tuition break, too.

Sending warm thoughts, a big hug and lots of prayers your way. You've got the right attitude and a lot of love surrounding you...that's obvious from every photo you post! Good luck on the job search. You can do this!
