Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; there is where they should be.
Now put foundations under them.

Morning mercies

Lamentations 3
22It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

My peace rose, first thing this morning.

I need some peace.
I got some somewhat ugly comments this a.m. from someone I thought would be more supportive of me as I mentally prepare to "gird up my loins" and be strong for Lovey in this. I was not expecting that.

You know that saying "God wont give you more than you can handle"? Its not true. He WILL give you more than you can handle, just to see if you will lean on Him.

Proverbs 3:5"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;and lean not unto thine own understanding."

I’m learning to lean, learning to lean,
Learning to lean on Jesus.
Finding more power than I’d ever dreamed,
I’m learning to lean on Jesus.

I'm new to your blog. Dianna, my TT friend sent me. I also have a son with spina bifida. He has had two tethered cord surgeries. Your family will be in my prayers. I will pray for a quick speedy recovery. And for you to feel to peace. I KNOW that Lord will help you.
I know what you mean about being far away. I have six children and our major surgeries were 3 hours away. We love Ronald McDonald house!! I hope you have a place like that to stay.
My heart goes out to you. Hang tough!!

I am so sorry to hear that things are so hard right now for you. I always say to my kids that things always work out okay in the end - so just stay the course that you must follow and things will work out. I will keep you in my prayers.
