Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE...

Wow its like a hundred degrees or so out today, so so hot and humid. So what do ya do? Go to the movies of course :) Took the boys + Wildchild's friend with us to see Transformers! We saw the preview a few wks ago when we went to see Shrek3. Lovey was practically DROOLING at the preview and Hawger doesnt want to see Harry Potter SO off we went :) IT WAS AWESOME! Hawger has said THAT WAS AWESOME about a hundred times. As an old school cartoon watcher of the '80's I actually use to watch the original Transformers cartoons LOL and this was very good! Of course I am a sucker for save the world from invading alien movies anyday. I spilled soda on myself and Hawger not once but twice. Thats what happens when you have 5 peeps you are sharing a soda with LOL. Oh well. Next on our list to see is Harry Potter, and I am dying to see Live Free Die Hard (swoooooon over Bruce Willis). We wanted to see Fantastic 4 but that quits playing Thurs and we probably wont make it back by then. That one will wait for DVD I guess. Anyone else seen anything good this summer? xoxo melzie

Sounds like we tend to see the same movies...we (the kids and I) saw Shrek 3, husband took them to Transformers, then I took them Harry Potter (it was GOOOOOOOD) and we saw the Fan. four one on TRavis' birthday in June. Only summer movie we missed out on that we meant to see was the new Pirates movie...guess it will be on video at Christmas, right?
I want to see Live Free, Die Hard too...it is on at the drive-in 20 miles away and we havn't been there this summer...maybe we will make it Saturday..you never know!!

We're gonna be heading to the theater this weekend or next week to see Harry Potter. My older kids saw Transformers and thought it was awesome, so far the younger boys haven't had much interest in it (that I know of, anyway). I haven't seen any movies in a while, I think the last one I saw was a drive-in with Pirates of the Caribbean (2) and You me and Dupree. I need to get out more....

Do you think your boys would like the new Pixar film? Ratatouille?

If you would like to pay me a visit I think you may be pleasently surprised :-)

The kids have hit the theater for everything you mentioned and then some. They have reached that age where that and the mall are the happiest places on Earth. LOL!

I've only seen Shrek 3 this summer. Happy weekend!

Harry Potter - it was good! I'm going to see Ratatouille this weekend. All by my lonesome - unless I find a kid to drag in off the street.

My husband and oldest son went to see transformers. Hubby is a transformers nut. Comic books, toys, collectibles, etc... I wanted to go too but didn't have a sitter for the youngest. He can't sit through a movie. Last movie we took him to was Ice Age 2 and we only last 30 minutes before he drove us and everyone around us nuts. So we wasted $30.00. I want to see Harry Potter. The last movie I saw at the theater was The Davinci Code.
