Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

FAILED in my rednekkidness!

Jeff Foxworthy would give me a big fat "F" on being redneck...my WASHER ITSELF FROZE! And I am worried it maybe burnt the motor up. SO all my efforts in vain ::woe woe woe is me:: LOL. Spring needs to SPRING already its been a long winter. Have a great Friday...xoxo melzie

::UPDATED TO ADD::
oh my GOSH to add insult to injury, while fishing the sopping wet load of stuff out of the washer (which is thawing but I think the motor is totally fried) I DROPPED MY CORDLESS PHONE IN. AND FRIED. IT. TOO. Yes I did uh huh. Wrapping myself in bubble wrap and sitting in the corner now.........

Oh sweetheart! I'm so sorry it's not a good day today! Big big bubblewrapped hugs for you. *pop* oops sorry I hugged too hard and popped a bubble. Okay stepping away...
I'm hoping tomorrow is better. Try sewing to relieve your stress.

Oh my. My sister had a washer that froze. She put it in the garage over the winter, unused. In the spring, she tried it, and it worked fine, so she sold it at a yard sale! I do hope you get your laundry situation worked out.

Hope things have lightened up a bit. It is frustrating at best when the old appliances (or the little phones) are no longer functioning.

We purchased a new house the first of Dec. We have had some minor fixes since then and now, I have had to hold off on laundry, dishes... until my hubby could fix some blockage in the pipes. Just when we think all is well, the washer goes to drain and it kits a clog somewhere and water is spraying all over the laundry room.

He worked on the pipes outside again, used an auger and the machine is spinning out nicely. We'll see how it all goes tomorrow since I have a bunch of laundry and dishes to get clean tomorrow (oops, today, it is after midnight already!)
