Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

THE BEST MESS UP EVER :)

Know what this is?

Its my FIRST TOTE I MADE :)

Yes, its RIDDLED with mistakes. Matter of fact this took me all day, sew, rip, sew, rip, think, sew, think, rip, sew, think, rip. LOLOL

yep even a lining. I sewed the handles on front to back instead of side to side and its not fit to take out into public...BUT I DID IT I REALLY DID IT! I learned TONS AND TONS :) Now I will go find some ugly fabric to practice more on then I have some cordoroy (sp?) pants to cut up and make a nice purse/tote out of :)

Pic of Jolly Ole St Nick at the parade of lights last week. More pics to come from that, and some cutie pie kitten pics also :)

Yayy!! Yayy!! I'm so happy and excited!! You dipped your feet into the tote bag adventure and you made one!! And you know what? It's very nice and YOU Should use it in public because YOU made it! You should be so proud!! I'm just so proud of you for doing it!! I'm your little tote bag cheer leader.
I don't see any mistakes either!! And some things I've made in the past are now my most favorite things.. mistakes and all. I do hope the tutorials I sent you were a big help!!

YAYYY!! You made a tote bag!!
Now next year after you've honed your tote bag skills... I want to do a tote bag swap with you! (At the moment I'm all swapped out! :D)

The tote doesn't look bad! The best way to learn is to do it. Front to back handles could work for a backpack effect . =)

Nice job on your first tote - I tend to stick to easy things like quilts - regular sewing instructions confuse me!

I looked at your list of blogs on the sidebar - how do you have time to do anything else if you actually read all of those?!
