Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

5 new lil babies and a 25 patch question

What a good momma :)

I think you can click to make bigger if you are so inclined! 2 days old, and oh SO cute :)

I really need someone to just order me, CUT THE SQUARES or MAKE STRIPS. I dont do well with the "do you own thing" type instructions LOL the indecision paralyses me.

I got up to like 179 new items on bloglines. I almost fell out I knew everyone hadnt posted in the middle of the night LOL. Apparently bloglines was down last night and about 5 blogs had 25 posts up each that were old so I only had 30something which is alot more normal :)

Well I finally got some sleep last night. Seems after several insomniatic nights if I will take some time and just TALK to hubby then I conk out. Dont know if I am relieving some hidden stress that way...OR he just bores me to sleep. JUST KIDDING LOL.

Take a few moments this weekend to watch some veteran's day coverage, do something to commemorate those who gave up their lives for our freedoms.

Well have a great weekend, play in the leaves (or snow) (or flowers for you worldwide ladies lol), play with a child, pet your pet. :)

Warm weather, we slept with the window open last night!

If you trust yourself to make very straight strips I say go the strip route. (Hee Hee that sounds so bad.)
If you don't trust yourself then do squares. A little bit more work, but maybe a little straighter?

Them kitties look so sweet. My kitty is fixed so I'm glad I don't have to deal with finding homes for babies.

Check out my latest quilt I'm working on. I blogged it today! :D

cute kitties - I want one - but can't because we already have two!

What project are you working on? I forgot.

Sorry - my computer messed up. I am an idiot about what project- should read blog titles more often. I would make squares myself, but my strip piecing isn't usually the best.

To answer your question here and on my blog: I did my 25 patch block by making strips. My stash contains many 2" strips so this worked well for me.

btw...I love your new blog look!!!! The quilted margins are wonderful! How did you do that??? I'd love something like it, just don't know HOW to do it.

Awwwwww---I'll take the striped one! Just kidding--we have three cats and none are indoors which makes me feel guilty but Maggie is allergic and DH doesn't want them inside. But they're so cute!

The kittens are SO cute! Only 2 days old and SO cute! Oh-- you wanted to be told "CUT THE SQUARES or MAKE STRIPS" I don't know which, so I will say do whatever is EASIER! Pretty color!

oh my gosh those kitties are just adorable. i used to have alot of insomnia, then developed allergies and a quilting hobby and had my fourth child, and the combination of HEPA filter running next to me, thinking about quilting when I lay down, and exhaustion from caring for the kids did the trick! about the quilt, flip a coin!
