Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

MY BARGAINS =)

I had a great time today :) I stayed under budget. I got some percentage off EVERYTHING I bought!

Here is what the gold and green Kona cottons are for, to do something with this fabric. I am going to try to make a small quilt up for the ladies fall fellowship this month but I didnt volunteer to do it so that way there is NO pressure :)

And this brown I bought to go with the blue and mauve ones I already had.

Totally non quilty, this is a cruiser (dirt) race car. One person steers, one does brakes and gas. This is what hubs "invested" in a few wks ago. Now he is going to hang on to it because lo and behold bookwormy Wildchild is totally interested in it. I am ok with that :) They've been tweaking and touching it up all weekend.

Speaking of the weekend I had a very relaxing one :) I enjoyed a day yesterday visiting at my nephews (huge) 2nd bday party. Other than that we've stayed home and kept to ourselves. My favorite times :) Monday memories will be posted tomorrow!

Great buys, Melzie. I especially like the last 3 fabrics.

I guess people doing that cruiser thing better be really coordinated!

Looks like you made out pretty good! In your top photo--I have that same flannel print. It's sooo soft!

Boyz can be moody.....VERY moody!

Congrats on hitting the right sales!

You said ...one person drives, the other brakes and controls the speed... that can't be street legal is it? lol

If you had a wreck would both 'drivers' be 50% at fault?

What great finds! Aren’t they the best! I made my boys some curtains out of that black and white checkered fabric. (got it at handcocks when we had them in the area)
I have a 12yo boy that is way moodier than his older sister ever was!!

Oh to be able to actually GO to Hancocks! I buy from them on the internet quite often. Tell me about Kona cottons - I want to buy some but am not sure of the weight or how they feel? Do you like it? We don't get it here so I can't go and feel it.
