Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

Echo..echo..echo..

I have nothing to talk about. I dunno if thats good or bad lol. Let me summarize the last few days.

-My dryer broke =(
-A very nice (and honest!) repairman came out and confirmed this. He said it would get very expensive to fix because he'd just have to start replacing parts. Which is tricky because sometimes the dumb thing will actually kick on and work. BUT he didnt charge me for that honest assessment LOL.
-Even though my dryer broke we have a 24 hr laundromat in town, which is amazing considering how small it is.
-Amazing Race was good! I love the KY couple :) She is so down to earth.
-We had our Ladies Fellowship Fri. night, amidst storms etc. Well the storms went north, and south! Nothing substantial in a 50 mile streak where we were :)
-I have not done a single thing in my sewing room except vacuum and work on a puzzle.
-Lovey my middle (special needs) son gave us a huge scare Thursday, with a headache and no other symptoms (he has a shunt). We threw together stuff and were on the road to the children's hospital (2 hrs north) but we didnt get far before he stopped hurting and felt better. WHEW thank you Lord :)
-Yesterday Lovey had a routine orthopedic checkup, news was good, has to go back to physical therapy for 2x a month which is doable :) We got out of said children's hospital just in time to miss rush hour traffic! Yay :)"

Well, thats all I can think of. We are buying a new dryer, but on payments. Good and bad. Good that we can, but I was really hoping for a new tv. Our 1 tv is 19inch, 15+ yrs old, sound is going, picture is fuzzy LOL :) I am not complaining its better than nothing. Guess I can watch my dryer HA!

Gratitudes:
Good credit at the furniture and appliance store
Honest repairmen (who knew?!)
Good entertaining fall tv
Cool nights, warm days
Mad About You reruns, I laughed til my tummy hurt yesterday watching!
Laundrymats and the quarters to chug in there :)

The only thing better than an honest repair man is a good reasonable handyman - we found one! YAY! (Now to get the quilt hangers for him to hang....)

Sounds like you've had a roller coaster week with the dryer and emergency roon scare and with a new dryer and safe fellowship meeting.

Can you not string up a line in the garage? Just to tide you over? I have a dryer but hardly ever use it.
