Summertime!

I had a very nice and long post COMPLETELY done and pics and all and blogger ATE IT I hope you get heartburn blogger!

Trying again!

Summertime is about....
FLOWERS! My sunflowers are finally blooming. They are as tall as the start of my roof! Here is a pic with my 5ft son for perspective (as always click on photo to make bigger!)

Summertime is also about...
FRIENDS! This is Hawger and his best friend Lil Girl. She use to be our neighbor last year, then they moved 2 hrs away. She got to come stay 2 wks with us. Hawger was in hawger heaven.

We actually found some PINK while she was here! (Hawger picked these from the house next door OOPSIE lol luckily its empty at the moment!)

I've actually been doing some sewing lately, my nerves are hopefully settling down. Our church is having Bible school this week OY lol that'll wear you out fast! Stay cool temps in the 100's here this week, and heat indeces even higher! xoxo melzie

Thanks for sharing your summer with us! By the way, those aren't sunflowers. They are beanstalks. You should climb to the top and get one of those gooses with golden pooballs. :P

Hi, I found you from a message you posted on a fellow quilter's blog. Hope you don't mind me stopping by. Those are beautiful sunflowers.
I've found blogger works better when you post one picture at a time, rather than doing them all at once. Takes longer, but less likely to get lost.
And don't worry about not having pictures of finished quilts to show us. We accept photos of works in progress as well. :)
