Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; there is where they should be.
Now put foundations under them.

We got new neighbors...I have NOTHING positive to say about that :(

We got 5 kittens born 2 wks ago today, I have some cute pics of those :)

A stray'ish neighborhood cat had 3 kittens in Danny's racecar LOL our neighbors next door moved them to their shed in a box :) Yes spring is in the air!

Hi Melzie, my first visit to your blog. I was wandering through links at Technorai and saw yours with a link to mine..*VBS* Thanks for visiting me at Pieces. I can see you have your hands VERY full with a young family, pets and a desire to make quilts...hang in there, it will get easier. I think you are off to a great start.

I did go back and read most of March and April, and remember that you were wondering about using fleece for a backing instead of batt and fabric backing. That seems to work fine from what I've seen. Quite often the gals tie them if they are using fleece, cause it stretches, but it sure does make a nice cuddly baby quilt or snuggle quilt.

I'm not sure if you are machine quilting or by hand, so can't offer much help there. I do know tho, that it gets easier as you do more of it..*VBS* Have a wonderful Easter! Hugs, Finn
