Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; there is where they should be.
Now put foundations under them.

Time flies...

Whether youre having fun or not LOL. This month has flown by so quickly.

Some of our spooky front porch friends...

Mine is the one here in the center with eyelashes hehe...

There has been so much going on lately its unreal. First I want to thank Susan at Desertsky quilting for thinking of me and emailing to see if I were still around LOL. Yes I'm here, working alot. Juggling home. But my job I got more out of desire to get out of the house has now turned into THE only job in the house. My husband got (unjustly) fired Thursday afternoon from his job of 15 years.

You'd think I'd be in total panic mode, especially since my stepson moved back in last week also. But I'M HONESTLY NOT :) I've been feeling in spiritual limbo for months, wondering hello God are you listening to us or not? But now..now I see Him moving, see His hand, see that we are so blessed by him. Hubby may find a job tomorrow, he may not find one for months. But I know God is working, and I know that ALL things work together for GOOD for those that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. Hubby needed to be out of there, it wasnt the job environment it use to be. But Hubby is very much a creature of habit and short of a catastrophe he wouldnt have just up and quit. Last week we had found a way to catch up our vehicle payments 3 DAYS SHY OF REPOSSESSION. That was no coincidence. I think we may lose our house. Thats ok, I've told Hubby for years, I'd be happy in a trailer on a dirt road rather than WORRYING ALL THE TIME about bills and money :) I am happier knowing that we are in God's will than to be in this house. I am happier seeing Hubby's faith and love grow. I am excited to see what the next chapter holds for us (even if its chapter 11 LOLOL)

I am sorry for not updating more, but I am more comfy with working and balancing home demands, plus stepson moving in and being unemployed, some of the housework falls onto him which is fine for now. Kids are adjusting ok to me working now, and are being resilient to the possibility of moving. We will try to stay in same school district, unless God directs elsewhere.

I hope you all have a safe and happy Halloween, dont eat too much candy ;) Brush your teeth! LOL I'll update more now I promise ;)

I am glad your job is going well and the kids are thriving...big blessing in the midst of the hard stuff. You hang in there.

I'm so sorry that your hubby lost his job. 15 years is a long time to dedicate to a company that doesn't appreciate you. That is a lot of stress on everyone. I wish you well. I think downsizing the house and car, rather than waiting and having them repossessed is a great idea.
