Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

comfort quilt

Lovey's surgical consultation is Wednesday. Today he receieved a very special gift.
Close up of one of the many scriptures
Label-
We have some very close friends who attend this church, and knowing of my son's need for surgery they gave him this :*)
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Nothing touches me like a gift of service for one of my children.
My yardsale did ok, I made right at $100 and now have $160 put up for Lovey's surgery. Yes he has ins. but I have to have gas to go up there 2hrs. one way, food for each day he's there etc. Plus hubby will take off from work on the day of the actual surgery so more $$ lost.
Please pray for Lovey, first off that the surgery will be not needed (miraculously), but if not, that we will handle things well and trust in God. I will know Wed. night if he is having surgery Fri. a.m. or if it can be postponed a few wks. xoxo melzie

Isn't that the truth?!? That's a beautiful and wonderful gift. Many prayers for God's best for your baby. (They'll always be our babies, won't they?)

That is a absolutely beautiful quilt. I know that will help to bring your son comfort while he is recuperating.

Quilts and comforters remind me of the Holy Ghost and how he brings us comfort and peace. I will be praying that you will find peace through this challenge.

Hugs!

1. Does he have to give the quilt back now? LOL!

2. What did you do with the money instead?
