Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; there is where they should be.
Now put foundations under them.

Thrift store finds and other odds and ends

These chickens are according to my mother, to place over a basket of rolls, lift chicken's wing and get a hot one :) Very cute and old. The blanket is an embroidered baby blanket that was MELZIE'S as a baby, made by my mom's best friend who died when I was very very young. The churn dash blanket on the sideline was also a baby quilt of mine. My best childhood friends on the left, Henry and Henrietta.

Some (dusty) fabric eggs I found at the thrift store, wooden box and eggs were only $1 altogether.

Look at this itty bitt! See the thimble/bookmark attached? Teeny tiny, little bitty pics and stories inside :) This was $.50 at the thrift store today.

My inner child coming out LOL Lucy doll in my childhood doll cradle, although she and Raggedy Ann are recent garage sale finds as is the doll highchair. Clearanced fleece on the wall to make the corder complete :)

Thanks for looking at a couple of nooks and crannies in my sewing room! I showed mine...now you show yours!

Gratitudes:
Coolish days, hot stuff coming up this weekend!
New thrift store opened in our town this month
An almost clean sewing room and a huge new shelf opened up to use in there :)
Childhood lovies, old and new

Someone gave me a little quilt book like that several years ago and I love it!
