Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

Snowflakes

Isnt snowflake a nice word :) Snowflakes are delicate and unique and somewhat magical. They shimmer and glow. The pile up to inches and feet of snow! No I'm not writing a poem LOL. But see over there on my sidebar? Up there, just under cute new pic of myself on my profile ;-) The "Need A Snowday?" Button! Yep thats the one! CLICK IT I dare you! and be prepared to wile away minutes (ha!) or more making cutout snowflakes! Go to the bottom left of the page to "find a snowflake" and do a search for MELZIE and see how many minutes I've wiled away ROFL. You can view HAWGER's, LOVEYDOVEY's, and WILDCHILD's. If you have go there you HAVE to do a search for some unknown person named SONKIST who has made this a work of art. If you make any, leave me a comment with the name and state so I can search out and find YOURS :) Any kid who can man a mouse can do it my kids BEG "put it on the snowflake game mommy!" :0) have fun! Go on now, put on the hot cocoa and go walkin in this winter wonderland! xoxo melzie

No snowflakes where I come from, but I love the story of Snowflake Bentley. Looks like I'm going to have to go play in the snow *s*

How fun! I took time to make only one, as I need to keep doing my decorating. My sister and I used to cut out paper snowflakes to put on our windows at Christmas because Mom didn't want to mess them up with stenciled pictures that had to be washed off. We tried to outdo each other to see how lacy we could make them. I'm sure I'll come back to make more.

Thanks for the compliments on my flakes. The kids at the library liked Spongebob Squareflake the best. :)

If you 're having problems signing in, make sure you've signed in beta, you can't sign in with the old name anymore. With beta, I had to use my e-mail addy to sign up.

All looks great. I would like to see a snowflake over here at the moment. Probably not great plan.

Okay, I did three snowflakes, Desertsky, AZ should get them. I would have done more, but all the other stuff drove me crazy. I lost one, the best one, because it didn't give me the screen to say no thanks. =(

I enjoyed looking at yours, and the Sonkist ones were phenomenal!

These snowflake sites are addictive! I've been doing them for the last couple of years, but hadn't been reminded of them yet this year. I like this one, since the "scissors" are flexible, you can make more designs.
