The block looks great, including the rogue blue. Especially if it's in other blocks scattered around the quilt, it will make the eyes move.
Your DH and I like the same part of the news.
That block does look good. Love the green colour.
Your block is adorable, Melzie!! Oh dear, I do hope your DH doesn't murder you when realizes you put his pic reading (snickering) the paper on your worldwide blog....ROFL
your quilt block sorta looks like the funnies your hubby is reading. lol, the colors seem to all pop.
Aaron has been saying pop pop poppity pop. i love it! and the block too.
you are such an inspiration!
i so want to finish that yellow and blue quilt top so i can share...
I love your block too. :-) And who says that rogue blue doesn't go? I see the same blue popping up in your light accent fabric. Looks good to me! (And that's my favorite part of the Sunday paper, too.)
Just put more in the quilt in other spots and then you can have fun looking for which position it landed. It's fine!
You make me want to quilt :-)
That looks great Melzie, it deserves to grow bigger and bigger! Sometimes it's the colour risk that takes a quilt from being just nice to something really spectacular.
I love the blue. There is nothing wwrong with it! Go with the flow. Do want your heart and eyes tell you to do.
And who is building up her stash then! 600 - wow!
That rogue blue does go - it picks up the little blue circles in the outer fabric - looking good
That block is AWESOME, Melzie! I love the rogue blue! *Grin*
Your hubby likes the same section of the newspaper that I do! *LOL*
Well of course you love that block - I do too! Very nice and leave the rogue blue in, it adds to the scrappiness of the block.
