Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; there is where they should be.
Now put foundations under them.

And after!

Hubby kept saying I thought you wanted it shorter well hubs, I got up this a.m. and its like 2 inches above my shoulders.

For some reason the older I get the curlier my hair gets :) Which I love!

SO I cropped out most of the mess LOL I am a slob slob slob.

Ok so today:
got up early no slugabout in bed today!
Bible read and prayer done
did some stretches
took a shower
almost done with coffee

goals for later:
drink water all day
walk at the very very least around the block
clean one room really well
sew at least 15 min.
stay OFF the computer

I am not "on a diet" or anything like that. My weight/body doesnt bother me at all. Matter of fact I have more clothes now than I've had my whole life LOL so if I lose too much they wont fit! But last night I just broke down CRYING because I DONT FEEL GOOD. I dont even have a whole good day anymore. Food is my drug of choice, and laziness is my middle name. But neither are worth the misery I feel physically right now, then the mental guilt and upset when I have wasted another day another day over and over and over its just not worth it anymore. God didnt create me to just sit here playing internet games and (no offense lol) reading blogs all day. I read all this stuff but I havent got a thing to show. I love to read blogs (nosy much melzie? LOL) but my day is better served somewhere else. OK I am putting this out so you guys can keep me accountable! I dont think some downtime blog surfings are bad AFTER my day is done, not filling up my days :) I will be here, just not ALL the time LOL. I almost have Hawgers quilt done, if I'd ever motivate I could finish it this week :) So..melzie..signing off to go clean and walk and spend time with my boys :) AND MAYBE even sew!

gratitudes:
foggy mornings
sunny afternoons
haircuts!
joyce meyer
Randi my blogger friend :)
Jackie my other blogger friend (thanks for the mail Jackie it made my day!)

Stick with your goals for the day and you'll feel so good when you go to bed. And remember, baby steps! Trying to do too much change all at the same time is so hard. Good luck!

Wow! What a change with your hair. I'm sorry to hear that it was too heavy for you. My hair is about your "before" length and I couldn't dream of cutting it. On the other hand... I've been trying to get it to grow to my waist for the last 10 years. :) (Let's just say there were some mistakes made and I had to cut bad hair out).

I do hope my hair gets curlier as I get older too. :)

Hello,

I am so happy to be on your thankful list! You are definitly on mine too. Your gift is on it's way--tomorrow or Friday, probably--you know the Post Office!

Cut out of the fizzy drinks! Seriously - they don't do you any good (says she whose daughter drinks Lemonade as if there is going to be a world shortage!)

I'm with you on the too much time spent on the computer and blogging. I get a guilt complex when Bloglines hits the 60 mark!

Hang on in there - you are doing the right thing.

Wow, that's a lot shorter! As for time spent on blogs . . . only you can tell when it's been enough or too much, but I'm sure you know how to prioritize your life.

So sorry you aren't feeling well. I've been feeling down today and lately too. I like your goals - it's the little things that get you moving that can build the momentum to keep moving, I hope.
That reminds me, I need a haircut too. Your curly hair is cute. Mine does that too!
