Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

Two finishes today!

Here they are :) both made today.

This one is for my friend to take to her son's football games. Wondering why there is a wheel in my living room? I'm wondering too LOL I'll ask the husband figure later ;-) This was made with 2.5 yrds of fabric, and is the length of my couch! Very big.

And how sweet is this one?!

This is for a lil girly girl named Sophia Faith born at church this month. Her shower is Sunday. Made with 1 yrd of fabric.

Close-up of print :)

SO thats how melzie spent her day :)

Gratitudes:
Sharp scissors
A WORKING DRYER WOOHOO
Quiet day
a visit from a sweet friend
Survivor & ER night! (Jericho was good last night!)
Joyce Meyer books and the Word of God :)

It's funny that you post these. I make them all the time and have for about 4 years or so now. I just taught my hubby how to make one and he made one for football season of his favorite team. He's so funny! :)

How are ya?

My husband has one that I made in masculine colors that he tucks himself under in the colder months. Vaulted ceilings in the living room and he is on blood thinners so the poor guy freezes. Me, enough padding that I'm hot all the time.

they look great. I love the prints.

Jericho premiered here in Australia last week which i forgot to watch. But last night DH and i sat and watched the second episode and we enjoyed it so will be watching more of it.

Cool - too bad I donated the yellow fleece that I thought I could use for a back...

What did ya think about Survivor?

I wonder if Yul really would have given Becky the hidden Idol so early in the game...

I am kinda glad that Cecelia was the one to go - but I can't wait for "flicka" to go - she is not the type of player that I "follow."

I wonder how well "Cowboy" will "go" with a mixed crowd - The Asians did not like him too much, it can't be better in a mixed crowd - know what I mean?

These are both great. I really like the pink "fly girl" fabric. I bought fleece, but I can't remember if I bought two layers. Hmm, will have to go look for it.

Melzie--forgot to tell you that I, too, have a special needs child--well, she's 24, but really 8! :) Sounds like that little guy of yours is in the right house! People used to tell me that God only sent special needs kids to special people. I used to reply that God messed up, because I'm not special. Now I feel like I am blessed because of her and wonder what I did to deserve to have a delightful daughter. I'm sure you know what I mean. :) the only thing I know is that God sent her to a house that would love her to death. (she has Down's, btw and fortunately doesn't have too many medical issues since the age of 10).
