Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

Call the fire department LOL

Man there should be like a 20 candle limit! I had a very good birthday, very low key which is my favorite thing. My kids got me a new nightgown. A cute card signed by all three boys. Hubby got me a funny googley eyed chicken card (silly lol) and then he gave me a book. Its a children's story book called I Love You, A Keepsake Storybook Collection. Its all about moms & kids. It sounds kinda silly...but that is the best gift I believe I've ever gotten. Its perfect. He wrote the sweeeeeeetest letter and stuck in it. About how he knows books are dear to me and hopes I'll enjoy reading this for years to come etc. And as an added unbeknownst to him bonus, Hawger and mine's favorite story is in there, I Love You Stinky Face! Too cool! Thanks Hubs :)

Some quilty pics, via the fair last week. All the entries are behind chicken wire LOL so sorry for the quality.

Mini churn dash with a blue ribbon

Very pretty (small) log cabin that caught my eye, 3rd place

And some non winners but I liked them :)

Well I am trying to clean clean clean today :) My sewing room is trashed with yardsale stuff. And now its suppose to thunderstorm Friday and be cold Saturday :( I dont know what to do I am itching to sew but its just too TOO messy. Maybe I'll relocate it to my room...I dont mind to blog amidst a mess LOL or sleep for that matter!

Gratitudes:
A thoughtful sweet husband
Awesome kids
Best friends bringing cinamon bun candles
Hummingbirds...but not for much longer

Happy birthday Melzie. You have a sweet family. Looks like a lot of candles!
I find it strange that that they chose to use chicken wire to keep you away from the quilts.

Happy Birthday Melzie!

I was actually cleaning up my sewing table tonight. I'm not completely done but I got rid of some junk scraps. And I used gallon size zipper bags and squeezed out the air and zipped the bags up. So now like my quilt an hour project...is all in one bag (or at least the parts I found right now LOL)

Happy Birthday--sorry that I am behind on my reading and therefore, my greetings.

Too bad about the chicken wire but they were probably concerned about theft. Pretty quilts though
