Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

Blah week

I have so not felt like blogging this week. You know the "if you dont have anything good to say" philosophy :) Not anything true drama, just a crabby patty mood on this end. So here is an overview of my week:

Tuesday-deep cleaned my house-paid bills-had enough to pay bills thank you Lord-finished the baby quilt for shower this Sun.-accidentally figured out how to handsew a blanket stitch!

Wednesday-hubby took a day off work-very relaxed day at home very little cleaning due to having deep cleaned on Tuesday-started handsewing binding on 4 month old Allie's baby quilt-cant figure blanket stitch out again...but inadvertantly learned blind stitching LOL-ruined relaxed day by picking a totally unnecessary argument with the hubster-took Wildchild to the eye dr, checkup ok.

Thursday thus far-managed to alienate half of my March 02 mom online group-am wondering if I should have slept through this entire week-doing laundry today and sewing more on the binding if of course I can remember the blind stitch from one day to the next-have to pick kids up from school at 2:30 for a pediatrician/adhd appointment.

My bedroom window is right by the dryer vent thingie and my laundry is smelling so good :)

Next week is the fair! I am excited. I pulled my sunbonnet sue visits quilt in a day book I want to try to sew one sue. Just one is my goal :)

Hope your week is better than mine!

Gratitudes:
Laundry smelling good
A finch at my feeder 2 days in a row
That even though its a rough week its minor..no one is sick, hurt, etc.
Enough money to pay bills this week!

Melzie, you are normal! Who'd a thunk? =)

Everybody has a down week now and then. You're doing a good job of dealing with it, though. You're right, it's all minor stuff. You'll be back on top.

At least you found things to be grateful for and listed your gratitudes. I just wish I could create quilts like you.

(((Mel))) I totally understand a "blah" week. We all have them and get thru them. Congrats on your bargain purchases. Moodiness knows no sex! I sometimes think my boy was more moody than my girl, but probably because he was last. I know she's very moody now with the pregnancy, but I don't live with her, she's her hubby's problem! hehe I just keep telling him to hang in there! He's a good kid and we are thankful for such a great son in law.

It'a always a great time when the fair comes to town and when there is enough money to pay the bills.

I fully understand down weeks, and I think a lot of people, including me, were down this week, with the Katrina and 9/11 anniversaries. Plus you had the death of your best friend's mother. Hopefully you are feeling better now.
P.s. You can come and deep clean my house since it makes you feel better and yours is already clean.
