Welcome to my little corner of blogland! This is the only sane spot I can come in my crazy life! :) Here I share my sometimes funny sometimes NOT-day to day insanity I call my life, along with my sweet wooly hubby & all our boys :)

SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS!

I am SO HAPPY TONIGHT :) I am just in awe of God's impeccable timing and also His sense of humor lol. I am happy for the lesson in James we had tonight that showed me that every single problem going on in my household right now is due to fleshly wisdom and to pray for Godly wisdom to have the Godly attributes we're missing.

The passage was found in James 3:13-18. Vs. 14-16 speak of
strife (self motivated, fighting, rivalry & divisions),
envy (ego, attention seeking),
boasting (pride, me me me attitude) &
deceit (lying, sneaking). Well sadly enough to say THIS IS MY HOUSEHOLD IN A NUTSHELL. I constantly feel that my house is totally out of control. And since I grew up in a total chaotic way I waited my whole childhood to have things "right". Well...still waiting...

Ok on to vs. 17-18 :) *the good parts lol* They speak of the good, calming *true wisdom.
purity (unmixed with evil, holy
peaceable (no hostility)
gentle (self explanatory lol)
easy to be entreated (get along with easily, but not compromised in standards)
full of mercy & good fruit (mercy is walking in someone else's shoes, compassion; fruit is just that your wisdom spills over to others)
without hypocrisy (not two-faced, sincere, no mask)

How to get this wisdom you ask? (as I was definitely asking LOL) James 1:5 says If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Thats it...ASK! I am so excited over this, as it was like the preacher was speaking straight to me, speaking of MY household and MY heart. And telling me what the solution was! I love when God works things out that way :) Hope this blesses someone elses heart even half as much as it did mine.
